Couples / Relationship Counselling

Two people holding hands.

The couples and/or relationships I work with often feel caught in painful patterns of conflict, disconnection, or miscommunication, and who long to feel close, understood, and secure with one another again. Whether you’re navigating betrayal, rebuilding trust after infidelity, facing life transitions, or struggling with emotional or physical intimacy, therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening between you, and begin to repair.

Couples / relationship counselling is a supportive space for partners to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and work through challenges together. Therapy can help couples better understand each other’s needs, patterns, and emotional experiences.

Growing up in a blended family shaped my understanding of how relationships and family systems influence us, which informs my work with couples and families navigating conflict, transitions, and reconnection.

Common reasons couples seek counselling:

  • Communication difficulties or frequent conflict

  • Feeling disconnected, distant, or misunderstood

  • Trust issues, jealousy, or infidelity recovery

  • Differences in parenting, finances, or values

  • Intimacy and sexual concerns

  • Life transitions (new baby, relocation, illness, blending families)

  • Preparing for marriage or strengthening an existing partnership

Extended 75-minute session options are also available and are often recommended.
